I study how behaviour is organised and regulated, drawing together physiology and neuroscience. My interest is in principles general enough to hold across very different organisms.
I earned my PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, then taught and researched at the Free University of Berlin, the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg, and the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. I am now at Liverpool John Moores University.
